Top Hat 7.5 Din Rail
This 35-mm wide rail is widely used to mount circuit breakers. Therefore it is also referred as MCB Channel. The EN 50022 standard specifies 7.5 mm which are officially designated top hat rail EN 50022 – 35 × 7.5.
Some manufacturers catalogs also use the terms Top hat section / Type O / Type Omega (Ω).
G Section Din Rail
This 32-mm wide rail is widely used to mount terminals. Therefore it is also known as Terminal Channel. The EN 50035 standard specifies 15mm which are officially designated G Section Rail EN 50035.
Some manufacturers catalogs also use the terms G-Type / G Section Din Rail.
